We have asked Madelyn about getting her ears pierced, but she always tells us she doesn't want to. I haven't pushed it because it's one more thing to take care of. However, last Saturday she and Aaron were talking about it and had this "surprise" planned. They were going to go on a date and get her ears pierced. Of course, two minutes later Madelyn spilled the beans to me. All week long she has been talking about it. She was all smiles today sitting in the chair and hardly even moved when they did it.
We figured as long as we were getting Madelyn's done, we might as well do Naomi's at the same time (no, they didn't give us a discount!) Naomi was not nearly as excited as you can see by the look on her face. When is Naomi excited to see a stranger, much less one that is going to inflict pain?
Pain was quickly forgotten after they gave her this sucker.
Madelyn is a little apprehensive now and has already asked to take hers out. Silly girl!

Glad I'm not the only mom to pierce her baby's ears. We got Ainsley's done before Aaron left. They are just too cute! Your girls look darling.
