Diaper free!

As has been tradition with our last few kids, after they are potty trained, they get to go to Build-A-Bear and pick out a stuffed animal. Naomi has been talking about doing this for a few months and we finally got around to taking her today. She has been insisting she wants a pink puppy, but when we got there, she had her heart set on a brown Dachshund. There was no changing her mind.She was her typical shy self and had to be coaxed into doing everything, but she loved it. She was afraid to put her foot on the pedal to fill the bear, but finally did it on her own.

Here she is putting the heart in her dog. She walked out of the store on cloud nine and now is sleeping with her Bitty Baby, Lily, and her new dog, Emma. As for us, we are thrilled for this new milestone. It's been a long almost 13 years of diaper buying and changing.
